I bet you would like to give your metabolism a jump start and get rid of your "Mommy tummy" forever... Then I have some great news for you...
I have seven fast weight loss tips that are EXACTLY what you need to tweak your workout programs and jump start your metabolism. I suggest that
you at least try a couple or better yet, ALL of these tips. But here is a warning, your
results might be a number of admiring second glances and you may EVEN need to pull those skinny clothes out of the dresser!
1) Make the bulk of your exercise workouts body strength exercises.
Use free weights, body weights or cable weights instead of machines. The simple reason is that the machines uses less skills, less muscular
control and has much less metabolic output. For instance, it is harder to balance the weights, to coordinate your muscles when executing the free
weight exercises. While it seems more difficult, it is really a benefit to your workout. By balancing your weights, you are actually putting more
effort on your muscles to do the job, with a wider range of motion which in the long run, works the muscles more and burns more calories.
Whew!
2) Do compound exercises rather than isolation exercises.
Basically, shaping or working on one muscle for definition is a myth. If you want great looking abs, you have to lose body fat ALL OVER YOUR
BODY. Same goes for the arms, legs, shoulders, back and butt. I mean, have you ever seen a girl with great looking abs and flabby arms? So do the
compound exercises that works more than one muscle at a time. You get more done quickly too! And working on your muscles will BOOST your
metabolism and burn more fat!

3) Work on two major muscle groups each time you do fitness workouts
When working out, alternate between two major muscle groups such as upper body and lower body exercises. Or the chest and the back. The
advantage of this approach is you will keep your workout plan short and sweet. Your workout becomes more efficient because you are not spending a
lot of time between sets resting...
Also, since you are out of the gate from the start to the end, you won't be stopping. As a result, you are revving your heart rate up and
constantly moving your muscles. You burn more calories in a shorter amount of time. face it, you are busy, it makes sense to organize a great
workout that minimizes downtime between sets.
4) Shorter reps (about 8 to 12)
You have probably been told to use high reps to get definition. It is a myth that is destructive (in terms of wear and tear on your body) and
unproductive (little or no results). Your goal is to build lean muscles and make your metabolism burn your fat. Research has shown that shorter
reps is the most efficient way to do this...
5) short rests between your workout sets (about thirty to sixty seconds)
It is pretty obvious, shorter rests keeps you focused on your task while keeping your heart rate up.
6) Only do the complete body workouts
Muscles are NOT independent of each other so it makes little sense doing those isolation exercises. Do ONLY exercises that allows your body to
train all the muscles together
7) Cardio exercises is NOT the answer
Cardio exercises does reduce some calories but the calories expended is only temporary. If you do the strength training exercises instead, you
will rev up your metabolism all day while creating new muscles that burn even more calories. You see, fat doesn't burn calories but muscles do!
So add some lean muscle mass... Make the bulk of your exercise program -- resistance or strength training...
So there you are. Seven fast weight loss tips that is sure to rev up your metabolism and build your lean muscle mass. Try a few or all of them
and see how your body responds to them. And don't be surprised that you are turning a few
heads and will fit into your skinny jeans.
