The Best Way
to
Lose
Weight
Is Slow But Steady...
The no-nonsense
book for Women
who want their pre-baby body

Just like that very old fable
we all heard when we were little children about the race
between the Hare and the Tortoise... Slow and steady wins the
race. Always!
And the best way to lose weight is
no different. You won't all of a sudden develop correct
eating habits and do workouts that melt off your fat right
away.
It takes time to "educate"
you and internalize that information into a successful fat loss
program for yourself. I absolutely recommend that you take baby
steps and develop one positive habit each week. This gradual
ramping up with allows you the confidence to proceed with the
program. By becoming aware of your gradual improvement, you can
save yourself from a lot of disappointment and frustrations at
the very start. Just doing one thing at a time is like building
a solid foundation -- one brick at a time.
Once you start moving in the
right direction, you are going to be amazed at your
transformation and the
results from your hard work and commitment will be
obvious.
This is how to do it... just be
aware that you didn't gain all that fat you want to lose all of
a sudden. Because you are sure not going to lose all that
weight quickly either. If you follow a effective and
safe weight loss program, you should lose anywhere from one to
two lbs of fat per week. Don't shoot for more than that because
it isn't safe! And if you add them up, you could safely lose up
to 5 pounds a month… 30 pounds in 6 months and so
on.
As you get better and better
and see more and more improvements to your body, try adding two
or three more positive changes to your fat loss program. It
could be exchanging bad snack foods for better quality snacks,
or adding more resistance to your workout program.
And believe me, these added
changes is going to pay off and bring BIG improvements to
your overall fat loss program!
Oh yeah, if the lure of quick
fat loss tips and fat loss supplements doesn't raise the hair
in back of your neck, I'm telling you now -- learn this now or
later. If you haven't learned yet, the promises of quick or
fast weight loss is usually a bogus claim that will cost your
body and waste your money and time. Remember -- slow and steady
is best.
So broaden your horizon and
see the goal at the end, which is to look great again. Don't be
intimidated by your long-term goal and the best way to get a
handle on it is to break down your fat loss program in smaller
pieces. Set a reasonable but challenging 1st week goal, 1st
month goal and so on.
And sure, there will be
setbacks and sometimes your personal schedule may get in the
way of your weight loss program but that is ok. Life happens
you know! Just get back on the horse and keep at it. And don't
forget your goal setting because as you reach that goal, it is
just a matter of extending that goal further.
And have fun with it. Don't
get all serious and discipline about it. That is a sure way to
really hate something positive. Just set simple, reasonable and
of course, challenging goals and do your workout routines and
definitely watch your eating habits.
Lastly, here is a great fat
loss tip. Enter into a
walking or running race or even a active sport. Even if you
don't have the endurance or feel fit enough to
participate... the point is, you have a goal, which is to get
into shape so you can actually do that activity! This is one of
the best ways to lose weight.
